Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference. Little Shifts is where I share gentle, free (or nearly free) habits you can try at home—especially if you’re not sure where to start. These are the things that helped me when I felt stuck, overwhelmed, or just a little off. Nothing in life stays in perfect balance—we’re always nudging in one direction or another. These simple practices are here to help you shift toward feeling a bit better, a bit stronger, a bit more like yourself.

FUN ON PURPOSE

This Little Shift is about adding more joy—on purpose. I committed to doing at least one fun, out-of-the-ordinary thing each month. The result? More happiness, less autopilot.

CLOSE THE STRESS CYCLE

This Little Shift is about helping your body complete the stress cycle—on purpose. With simple tools like movement, breathwork, social connection, creativity, or even a good laugh or cry, you can send the message: you’re safe now.

This isn’t self-care fluff. It’s nervous system hygiene. And it makes a big difference.

THE GIFT OF SILENCE

A small but powerful shift: choosing silence over noise. In this post, I share how creating quiet moments in my day has helped calm my mind, spark new ideas, and reconnect me with myself—and why silence might just be your next best wellness tool.

CREATE A BECOMING BOARD

Shift your focus from chasing big goals to gently shaping the life you want to live every day. A Becoming Board is like a vision board, but for your daily rhythm — small moments, honest joys, and the feeling you want to wake up to.

3 BREATHING TECHNIQUES TO CALM YOUR BODY AND MIND

Discover three simple breathing techniques—the Gulp Breath, the Vagus Nerve Sigh, and the 4-7-8 pattern—that can help calm anxiety, ease stress, and create space in your day. Practical tools you can use anytime your mind starts to spiral.

GROUNDING: A SIMPLE MORNING RITUAL TO CALM YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM

Grounding is a tiny habit with a big impact. Learn how this simple morning ritual helps me feel centered, even on overwhelming days (and how I adapt it for snowy Canadian winters).
